Linking your account to Steam
Eligible early Gaijin buyers can claim their Steam edition through the official announcement before 23 November 2026.

Use the account that purchased the game
Start with “Claiming Your Steam Edition” below and follow its official claim link. Use the Gaijin account that bought Active Matter. If it is already linked through another Gaijin game, you must use that same Steam account. This guide does not sign in or link accounts for you.
Understand the progress replacement
Linking replaces Steam demo progress with your launcher progress. Launcher access remains available; edition upgrades after linking go through Steam. Read the official instructions before proceeding, especially if the two accounts contain different progress. Account-specific problems belong with official support.
